FAQs

Do I have to RSVP?

Yes, please ensure you RSVP using the button on this website (even if we know you wouldn’t miss it!) by the 15th February 2026. Once this deadline has passed , unfortunately we will not be able to adjust our guest count, so we will have to assume you won’t be attending. Please complete the RSVP form for every guest named and listed on your invitation.

I am unable to attend, what should I do?

Whilst we will miss you dearly, if you are unable to attend we would be grateful if you could RSVP and let us know at the earliest opportunity so we can plan accordingly. If your situation changes after the RSVP date, please contact us directly.

How can I inform you of any dietary requirements?

When you RSVP, there is the option to make a note of any allergies or dietary requirements we will need to pass on to the venue. Please include anything that we may need to know, including if you do not drink alcohol.

Can I bring a plus one?

We are so excited to celebrate our special day with our nearest and dearest. We are afraid that we are unable to accommodate additional guests, unless a plus one is clearly indicated on your physical invitation.

Are children invited?

We have decided that only young children within the wedding party will be able to attend our wedding. We hope that you understand and take the opportunity to have a well deserved night off!

Is there a dress code?

We would love you to dress up for our special day and if possible avoid the colour black.

What time does the wedding end?

Sadly all good things must come to an end, and for us that will be carriages at midnight. If you are not coming by car we recommend booking a taxi in advance for collection at this time. Please find recommended taxi services in the travel section.

Can I take pictures?

We have decided to have an “unplugged” ceremony so please no photos during this time. After the ceremony, snap away! We highly encourage it in fact! We would love for you to capture the rest of our special day and enable us to have all of our guests perspectives of our day. We have even created a shared album that we encourage all photos to be added to via this website.

Can I share photos on social media?

Of course, we welcome you to share our special day. However, we kindly request that you do not post any pictures of the Bridge and Groom on social media until we have had a chance to do so ourselves.

Is there parking available?

Yes! There is plenty of complimentary parking at The Winters Barns.

Is there accommodation on site?

There is limited accommodation available at the venue so we have contacted those in advance who are able to stay on site. However, there are many alternative accommodation options in Canterbury that can be found on the accommodation page of this website.
